Origins of pulp fictions
An essay about how the writers had to sell themselves to make a living by writing cheap novels between the wars.
The first idea was to mix every popular pulp fitction themes (like spies, desert, cowboys, foreign legion, crime, andveture) in a dodgy, worn-out look. And play with the colors like it would use only one color, but in different tones.
But then I played with the most typical elements of those covers: very few colors, imprecise cut-outs, incorrect perspectives of the used elements... and the worn-out look and coffee stains for authenticty
